Now that the holiday season is over and done, life is starting to settle back into routine. This Saturday Bountiful Baskets start up again, which makes this house a very excited one indeed. Part of the reason my husband and I struggled with Paleo was the proce of the food. While I don't mind paying more for better quality, until I start working we really can't justify the amount of money we were spending! But now we have Bountiful Baskets.
What is Bountiful Baskets? Bountiful Baskets is a co-op of people getting great quality fruits and veggies for less. They are bought mostly from American growers, smaller farms, etc, and therefore WAY more affordable than buying from the grocery store. They also have several options for add ons, like granola, coconut oil by the gallon(only $20!), multi grain breads, and the option to pay a little more for an organic option. This co op has been a life saver. Not only can we afford for me to eat mostly paleo, but it has forced me to learn about so many fruits and vegetables I have never even heard of, much less tried, before. Sam and I enjoy getting the "surprise" each time we pick up our baskets.
